A network security audit for the plant floor
A plant network can grow one cell at a time, and the ways in for remote support can grow with it.
We review, with your IT team, how your plant network is segmented and how remote connections reach it, and hand you written findings and a prioritized list of fixes.

What we review
- Segmentation: how the plant floor is separated from the business network, and how lines and cells are separated from each other
- Remote access: the ways in we find for vendors, integrators, and your own team, including modems or remote tools in cabinets
- Boundary devices: the firewalls and switches between zones, and the rules on them
- What is connected: the PLCs, HMIs, robots, and PCs on each network, against the drawings
What you get
- Written findings, network by network
- A prioritized fix list: what to fix first, and why
- Notes on which fixes need an outage window
The findings are yours. Your IT team can make the fixes, or we can quote the controls side of them.
Done with your IT team
We agree with your IT team what we look at, how, and when, and nothing is scanned, connected, or changed without their approval. Any work on a live network is planned around production. The audit is a working review of your network, not an assessment against a standard.

Straight answers
Questions we get.
Will the audit disrupt production?
Most of the review is reading drawings and configurations and walking the cabinets. Any work on a live network is planned with your team, around production.
Is this a compliance audit?
No. It is a working review of your plant network and remote access, with written findings and a prioritized fix list. It is not an assessment against a standard.
Can you make the fixes?
On the controls side, yes, quoted separately: PLC, HMI, and robot network changes, planned for an outage window where needed. Your IT team keeps the business side.
Do you need remote access to do the audit?
No. The audit is done on-site with your IT team. If you want remote support afterward, it is set up separately, on the method your IT team approves.
What should we send?
The plant, the lines, your network drawings if you have them, the remote access tools vendors use today, and who on your IT team we should work with.
