S7-1500 OPC UA client — session error 3870_0600, UaExpert is fine

1500 as UA client, OPC_UA_Connect and WriteList. Same subnet. No security, no user. UaExpert browses the server. PLC waits 30 seconds and retries 3870_0600. Interface shows the tags. What did you put in the DB that the instruction still wasn't using?

The server URL and endpoint in the client interface are not always the runtime connection parameter. We had to write the IP into the instruction DB by hand. Also check the session timeout vs the server, and that the PLC clock is not 1990. No Security on a plant server is a ticket with OT — don't leave it.
